In our FAQs section, we try to answer some of the questions we are asked most frequently about our dating events in Brussels. If your question is not covered below, please get in touch at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What language is spoken at our events?
All our events are in English only.
Can I get general information about the participants?
We can provide you only with the information about number of attendees and their age. We do not make or provide any profiling of the participants and we do not share any personal data of our participants with others.
What if I turn up to an event and there are far more men than women?
WEdate work hard to ensure that there are equal numbers of male and female participants at any event. We believe this equality in numbers is crucial for the success. The total number of people at any speed dating event is a minimum of 12 (6 male and 6 female) and a maximum of 20 (10 male and 10 female), and for a slow dating event, it is a minimum of 10 (5 male and 5 female) and a maximum of 14 (7 male and 7 female)
What do you do to make sure there are equal numbers of male and female participants at your events?
In order to ensure that there are equal numbers of male and female participants WEdate request that any potential participant registers with us directly and pre pays the fee for the event. This is deemed as your commitment to attend
What if I can’t attend an event, after paying?
You must let us know as soon as possible that you will not be attending an event that you have registered and paid for. Only if we are able to fill your place at the event, will you be able to receive a refund – or you can use the payment towards a suitable future WEdate event. If you let us know as soon as possible that you are unable to attend, this will give us more chance to take a booking for your replacement and more chance that you will not lose out. Cancellations on the day, for whatever reason, will not be refunded
What happens if an event is cancelled?
If an event has to be cancelled for whatever reason, and you have pre paid, you have two options: You can either move your money and booking to a future WEdate event or alternatively you can receive a full refund
When do we find out if an event is cancelled?
In order to give each event the best possible chance of succeeding, we will wait until as late as possible to cancel an event. We will endeavour to give 48 hours notice of a cancelled event
What age range will be at the event?
Check the ‘Events‘ page to see the age range of the event
